In my life pre-mom, I used to work at Nordstrom. While working there I realized that my dream job would be to be a buyer for them. I have also been born into a family full of entrepreneurs, so I have always wanted to own my own business. Fast forward 15 years, a husband and four kids later, I still had the same dreams. I had put my dreams on hold so I could stay at home with my children. When I realized I could do both, follow my dreams and still be at home with my kids, it was life changing!
Now to the "What?". I have a room at my home that was used for a toy room. Well my kids are more play-outside-kids than toy kids. So I sifted through the toys and transferred the ones that passed my approval into my kids rooms. Their rooms are jam packed but I have a cute store now! :) On September 9, 2011, I turned that toy room into The Hidden Lily. I have really cute, affordable clothes and adorable, unique accessories that I sell. My goal is to expand into a traditional storefront in the next two years but right now, I still want to be able to ride scooters and play games with my kids... at home.
I have set up some open hours where you can just drop in as you would a traditional store and if those times don't work for you, call, email or text me to set up a time that will work for you. I have 3 kids playing sports and as the seasons change, so does my kids sports schedules. So, you can see my current store hours on here or Facebook. I will be updating both frequently. As I get new items in, have sales, and do mark downs, I will update on here and Facebook. So check back often!
